Cookies and local storage

Updated 16 October 2026

Sign-in and security

Offscript uses session cookies to keep you signed in and security cookies to complete authentication. Supabase sessions use HttpOnly cookies; a provider preference keeps different sign-in methods from being confused. Hosting and identity providers may set additional security cookies.

Personalization records

Feed interactions are stored against your account in the application database. Clearing browser cookies signs you out but does not delete those records. Contact ai.offscript@gmail.com to request data deletion.

Your controls

You can clear cookies in your browser. Blocking essential authentication cookies can prevent sign-in. Basic statistics use temporary references in page memory, without persistent visitor storage or fingerprinting. Privacy choices lets you turn them off; where required, collection waits for permission. Separate campaign attribution runs only after you select Allow attribution. It uses a 30-day browser identifier and an os_metrics cookie to connect campaign tags to successful account actions. Choose Privacy choices to decline or withdraw either choice. Privacy preferences themselves are remembered in local storage. There are no third-party advertising pixels or session recordings in this feature.
